Scientific Advisory Board Meeting 30th October 2004

During the 2004 ICAAC meeting in Washington DC, we convened an Advisory Board attended by Professors John Perfect, Bart-Jan Kullberg, Dick Graybill, George Drusano and David Denning.

The aim of the meeting was to discuss antifungal discovery and development in general and specifically F2G's strategy and scientific approaches within this field. These world experts agreed that there is a medical need for new anti-fungals to be developed, that existing chemical classes have been optimised and that there is a lack of new classes in development.

Consequently they fully supported F2G scientific approach and activities to develop new classes and our Target Product Profiles.

We will convene Advisory Boards at regular intervals to discuss F2G progress and antifungals in general.
