Dr Robert Nolan - Non Executive Director

Dr Nolan was director of global licensing at AstraZeneca plc, until he retired at the end of 2004. In this role he managed major product licensing transactions aimed at acquiring the world-wide rights to the products of other companies. His career with AstraZeneca began in 1979 when he joined ICI Pharmaceuticals to take charge of Natural Products Research, seeking novel anti-bacterial and anti-cancer agents. He is also a non-executive director of NeuTec Pharma plc. He is chairman of Epistem Ltd and of Cardiff Protides Ltd and provides consultancy services for LG Life Sciences of Seoul, Korea
